To promote and assist interested citizens and local governments in revitalizing neighborhoods and in building viable and safe communities.
Our Goal
To form collaborations and partnerships with civic groups, public and private nonprofits, businesses, universities and colleges and governmental entities to create jobs, housing and economic opportunities throughout Madison County and State of Alabama.
Our Objectives
To build partnerships which expand the role of Alabama A&M University and other academic institutions in addressing affordable housing and other socioeconomic issues in Huntsville and Madison County.
To design and implement solutions to housing and other social and economic problems in
collaboration with local government, businesses, and other public and private non-profits agencies.
To create safe and viable residential and commercial areas by removing blighted and
deteriorated conditions and spurring investments.
To empower low- to moderate-income families and individuals through job creation, housing, and promotion of economic development projects.
